Choose Team Game Topic

The topic that my team is going to focus on is: Healthy living with Diabetic 
We want the player to learn: That if you have Diabetes how to eat healthy.

I am not really interested on this topic. I am not a big fan of video games. I still think that is cool of all that things that it haves. For example you can download games and will it downloads you can play it. You will be about to video chat will playing. There is a lot of people that are exited for this new device and there are also waiting to know the prize. 

Black History Month with Games

My game is going  to be about  Mary Frances Early she was the first African American to graduate form the university of Georgia. In her career she spend time as a music teacher, a planning coordinator an elementary division curriculum specialist. Mary's awards include the STAR teacher award, University of Georgia Outstanding Alumna Award.

I created this in flash. The 5 objects that appear when you click in them they disappear. 

Add Hidden Object

It was very good adding something new to the game. This was the first time that I add the code of Add Hidden Object. I was easy after doing after the first one. Trying it the first time was a little confusing because a had not add code in flash since last year game.
The Next thing that I want to do is to add a message game to all the objects. And add a win screen scene that shows that you won.

Draw Background

Drawing background was very interesting to do. I had to draw some of the things that I am going to have in my game I could not draw everything. This is only one of the scenes that I am going to do or places. The other I will be outside, house and thinking about in the playground. For example in the school scene I was going to put a school in the background but of time I couldn't but in the future I am planing to put it. That is one of my golds to add to the game. 

Paper Prototype

What I learn is that is not that simple to make your paper prototype. Your paper prototype is very important because I what you are going to guide thought all the game. After drawing a couple of scenes I wasn't that difficult as the beaning. 

Plan Game Scene

I think that  my game is going to work very good because I think that am the only one that has this topic. For me be the only one that has this topic is very exiting because I have in mind that I have to do this game very good. I know that is going to be challenging but I know that I can do it. I really hope that people are going to learn from the game I am going to create. After all the point of this game is for people not to use Tex-Mex words and for them to use the proper words. 

Post-Election Day 2012

My prediction were right. My prediction was that Obama was going to win. I am glad that Obama was re-elected because I think that is going to make a difference in America a good difference especially for Hispanics. I'm Hispanic am I believe that Obama is going to do something good for us in the first 4 year he pass past of the Dream Act which I think that is great.

Frankenstorm 2012

If you were to make a hidden object game about Frankenstorm, what would the setting for your game scene be? 
It would be in the kitchen were you locate the food. I would put things that would be helpful and thing that would not be helpful.  I would also be in a store buying things to get ready for the storm.

Last Day To Register

Playing to Learn 1

By playing this games I have learned a lot. Now I know how my game could or should look like. My ideas or topic are not the same I still can get ideas. Like in some games they we using a lot of color in there game I think that in my game I am going to do the dame thing. In the game I will make I think that I should use some of the same ingredients that they use in some of the game. For example I can use the timer or the scoring ingredient. From playing  this game I have got experience.

A Single Story

What does it mean to have a "single story" about a place or community?

What it means is that you only give your opinion base of one what you hear and know about that place or community without knowing how it really is.

Describe a single story you have heard told about your community. What is missing from that story? How could

people learn more about that community?

A story that I keep hear of my community is that in the East of Austin that students won't finish school that they drop-out. I also hear that the people from the East Side that they are poor. Guess what that not true am still in school I know people that are going to college. Some people do drop-out but not everyone. For example EAPrep our gold is to go to college we are in the East Side and we are going to show that that we are not drop-outs. I live in the East Side no am not rich but am not a homeless. Again there are some people that make the big picture ugly. not everyone is poor, poor is not having a house, something to eat ect. In the East Side there is house there are a lot of smart and great people. I think that people should open there eyes and inform them self so they can talk knowing the truth of the East Side.

Describe a single story you have heard about another community. How did you learn that story? How could you

find out more about that community?

For example in the south there is were are a lot of rich people. A lot people including me i thought that White people that they think that are better than everybody else. You know a lot of people and I were wrong because a lot of White people are not like that they are nice. 

How could a game let players experience many stories about a place or community?

One idea that I have is that a game could be people of different community's goes to each other community's and inform there self  of how each others community's really are.

A New Year

What I want this new year I don't what to second guess myself. I want to have something in my mind and I don't want to stay there I want to have it done.  I know that to be able to do that I will need this year I want to accept as much help as I want. This year I want to meat new people and have new friends new connection. I want to participate more in social thing I want to get better in the way I speak. this year I want to  be able to make more than one game. One thing that I have in mind is that to do everything that i want to do i have to have my grades up because over everything school comes first. Something that I want and I will work hard this year was to put school work over everything else.  I hope that this school goes great!!

Forks Over Knives

I think that this documentary is going to be about better healthy eating. That only us can change our eating habits and how we can make it healthy.
I think thta the the tittle"Forks over Knives'' is that you can eat more green healthy things with forks and with the knives you can use them to cut meat.


Notes:

• They are introducing how people die of diabetics or cancer that could be cause of not eating healthy. 
• They are telling how Mexican-American  and African-American are the most heard that they have problem eating healthy. 
• They are notice that people want more salty thing and that is what we seen in our community we seen more junk food that contain a lot of salt.
• When they see they see the data of people that have die caused of diabetics more of the time is cause of people not eating healthy. 
• Now we know on reason why people dies is cause because they don't eat healthy and they also say how we can prevent the death by informing how to eat well and keep our body good.
• They ask some people what we need meat for and a lot of people that we need for proteins.:What some people say that we need proteins and other say what we can get it in another way. 
• What they keep saying that at the end is up to us if we what we want to eat healthy or not but that the end of the path how ever you end up the only responsible is ourself.
